Our Story

On 2 February, 2005, Kate Prior, Managing Director or face2face Recruitment opened the doors for business.

Within hours face2face had its first position and was able to fill it by the end of the week. face2face staff who were brave enough to work for a start-up business, took this as a positive omen and the company has not looked back since.

During the first 5 days, face2face had received another 8 positions. This flying start can be attributed to the reputation of the people in face2face and the confidence shown by Canberra businesses in their ability to perform.

In March, face2face was featured on the front page of the City News. To view this article click here. You can see immediately that face2face is breaking the standard stark recruitment mold by softening the edges and brightening it up.

Also in March, face2face hosted the launch of the business at the picturesque “The Deck” located on Lake Burley Griffin. This was attended by an amazing 160 guests. This again reflected the faith and support from businesses within Canberra for our new company.
